Mobile Disco Show
Our Mobile Disco Shows are ideal for a wide range of functions where you require music and dancing to entertain your guests.  A top quality sound system is partnered with an astounding light effect show that is sure to impress you and your guests.  We use programmable lighting that shoots dancing beams across the room in time to the music.  Added to this are smoke and haze effects which create stunning shows when the light beams hit them.  You will be amazed!

In order to bring out the best in our disco technology, we use only the best top professional DJs to present our shows.  Every one of our DJ team brings with them a wealth of experience earned through years of working in the entertainment industry.  We take their experience and train them to our exceptionally high standards so that they all know what is expected of them and they can meet the reputation that we have for professionalism and quality of service.  We also take trainee DJs and put them to work as Assistant DJs so they can learn our company values as well has how to do a good job and learn to read a crowd which gives them the perfect start to a successful career in DJing.

Our DJs and presenters will dress according to your preferences.  This can be formal (suit / shirt & tie) or smart casual (dress trousers and company t-shirt). It can also be fancy dress although this will attract an additional charge if we need to hire any outfits. This will compliment the theme of your function and enable our DJ to blend in.

Karaoke

Karaoke shows are ideal when you and your guests want to be more involved in the entertainment as you and your guests become the stars of the show.  Although the modern concept of karaoke is quite new, people have enjoyed sing-alongs for many decades.  With a hi-tech sound system for your vocals matched with professionally recorded backing music covering a vast range of styles, karaoke takes the old-fashioned sing-along to a new level. 

At Lightning Disco & Entertainment, our karaoke has thousands of tracks to choose from with music from the 50's right up to current charts and new releases so there is something for everyone.  From Nat 'King' Cole to the Kaiser Chiefs and from Abba to ZZ Top, we're certain we have the right song for you and your guests.

Karaoke is available for private functions and for pub & club work as well as an add-on to all of our disco packages.  We offer generous discounts for multiple bookings/residencies.

Live Entertainment

If you require live entertainment for your function, such as solo artists, duos, bands, comedians, magicians, children's entertainers, etc, then look no further than us. 

Working with our Entertainment Agency Partners, we can now offer the best deals on live entertainment bookings. Just let us know what you're looking for and we'll find the right act to suit your needs.

Prices for live entertainment vary from act to act but you can be assured that we will get the best price for you.

Catering

Due to the raft of legislation compliance involved in setting up the catering side of things, we've decided not to go ahead with this project.  However, we will be including caterers on our links page so interested customers will be able to find someone there.

Other Services

In order to bring the best service to our customers, we are continually looking at new services that we can offer to make us a more all-inclusive entertainment company. 

Some services we are looking to include in the near future include event co-ordinating, party planning, party accessory sales (balloons, glowsticks, decorations, bubbles, party poppers & confetti canons, etc.).
